Slipping and starting clutches protect machines against damage from peak torques.
In case of peak torques, inner and outer plates slip against each other and also the two coupled hubs slip.
During slip the maximum set torque is transferred smoothening the torque peaks.
Available from 20 to 50000 Nm.
